CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

Beth Winwood provides a professional and confidential service and will not disclose client details to any third parties.  

PAYMENT

Payment is required in advance of your session.

I will create the booking on receipt of 50% of the total fee. If the 50% has not been received within 48 hours of the initial request, I may offer that date to another client. The final balance of the fee must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the service booked.

Payment can be made via bank transfer.

During your free consultation, we’ll agree what session(s) or package you’d like to move forward with and I will then send you an invoice detailing these payment terms.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand that occasionally you may need to cancel a session. Both you, as the client, and myself have the right to cancel a session or the contract due to unavoidable circumstances.

I will try to rearrange a cancelled session wherever possible. There is no charge to do this but all rescheduled sessions must be completed within one month of the original session date.

If you cancel the session with less than 72 hours notice of the agreed date and time, no refund will be given. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance of the session will be refunded in full.

INSURANCE

I will always handle your items with care. However, Beth Winwood cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for your possessions. Beth Winwood holds Public Liability Insurance.

TRAVEL

All sessions and packages include travel costs provided the services are carried out in London Zones 1-6. Outside of these areas, travel expenses and additional fees will be charged and pre-agreed before a session takes place.

WORKING HOURS

I will work with you to determine how many sessions you require. However, jobs may require more or less hours than initially estimated depending on a variety of factors.

Sessions will range from three to five hours. Should a session go over five hours, you’ll be charged £40 per hour for the additional hours worked. I will always inform you when the booked time is up and obtain your permission to continue if you wish to do so.

Breaks can be taken as you wish during a session but these will count towards the duration of the booked session. If the session takes place during a meal time we may take a break and you will not be charged for this time. We’ll arrange this prior to the session starting.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Tidying is a personal journey and requires concentration. I therefore advise that those you share a home with should not be present when a session is taking place. This includes pets if they are known to demand your attention.

You confirm there is nobody in your household that would object to the service being provided.

I will help and support you in decluttering and organising your belongings. This means that I will not undertake the work for you but will be supporting you to complete the work. We work together.

Please ensure there is good access immediately outside your home and inside your home. Beth Winwood is unable to move furniture or heavy items due to health and safety reasons. If the working area is considered unsafe I reserve the right to cancel the session without refund.

REMOVAL OF ITEMS

It is always your decision what you choose to keep and what you choose to let go of. Beth Winwood cannot be held liable for any items that have been discarded. Beth Winwood is also unable to remove these items from your home.

I’m passionate about protecting the planet. I therefore encourage recycling, donating and reusing items instead of sending them to landfill. You may also choose to sell items that no longer spark joy. If so, Beth Winwood is unable to provide a valuation service. You are advised to seek your own valuations of any items before letting them go.

RECOMMENDATIONS

I may suggest additional products and services you could purchase throughout our tidying journey and will always do my best to ensure these are high quality recommendations. However, Beth Winwood is unable to accept any responsibility or liability should the products or services cause you direct or consequential loss or damage.

PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ll take before and after photographs to support you on your tidying journey. These may be used on my website, social media, presentations and printed publications. Beth Winwood will always obtain your written consent to use these photographs in these ways.
